The lakes of Wadi Al-Mashqar in the city of Al-Majma’a, which is located 180 km north of the capital, Riyadh, kidnapped one of the valleys of striking beauty that transformed the site into a water oasis surrounded by greenery from everywhere, especially after the rains and the filling of the new Al-Majma’ah Dam with torrential waters. Photographer Mohammed Al-Faris to document the aesthetics of the site, to which visitors flocked from everywhere in order to see these aesthetic variables.

In his interview with Al-Arabiya.net, the photographer Al-Fares indicated that the site turned after the rainy season into a tributary and reinforcement of the old Al-Majmaa Dam, to contribute to the storage of a large amount of torrential waters. It is formed due to the leakage of fresh water from under the old dam of Al-Majma’ah, which rises 15 meters, and can accommodate about five million cubic meters throughout the summer months.
